Dry Flower is a short expression of wistful beauty, and of the off-kilter sensitivity of the Wabi-Sabi aesthetic. Track one consists of fields of delicate chimes, echoing and looping above brightly tinged reverb tails. Track two is a soft, wandering soundscape consisting of modulated guitar, and indistinct field recordings. The drones wane and wax, slightly out of sync, but still melding an elusive beauty.
Track 3 is a short field recording/ambient piece. Enveloping sounds of a busy Korean train station ring out, before a hazy, wailing melody ends the album on a hopeful note.
